We’ve partnered up with one of our favorite organizations to provide coffee with a cause. From their website:
The coffee of Subida Coffee Co. is grown by the team at the Moses Project, a 120-acre commercial farm and agriculture training center in a small community outside of Santa Rosa de Copán. At any given time, this facility houses an average of 40 boys above the age of 13. These young men learn best practices in the technical and economic aspects of agriculture, specifically in coffee, fish, and poultry. Most of these young men would not have continued their education due to lack of finances or facilities. Now, through the Moses Project, they are studying and are on their way to completing their high school education. Along with helping them complete their formal education, they take part in an agricultural education focused on tilapia, chickens, greenhouse vegetables, bee-keeping, and coffee. The goal is to equip them with all they need to lift themselves, their families, and their communities out of poverty. By purchasing Subida coffee you are a part of training and equipping the future generations of coffee farmers, business owners, and community leaders, who will shape and transform Honduras.
